Life Sciences Entrepreneurship Masterclasses

A two-day long intensive training course covering subjects such as business development, funding and fundraising, IP and law, Horizon 2020 framework, product commercialization, pitch training and more.

Mentors of the Masterclasses will include:

  • Prof. Teo Dagi, General Partner at HLM  Venture Partners, Lecturer at Harvard Business School and Harvard Medical School in healthcare innovation;
  • Remis Bistras, CEO at Vittamed, a Kaunas-based neurodiagnostics medical device company that secured series A investment of 10M USD last year, President at Walden Vision.

Enterpreneurship Masterclasses will be held in Vilnius on 12-13 of September, just before the Life Sciences Baltics 2016 forum that will take place on 14-15 of September. Find more information about the course here.

Pitch Challenge

10 best startups will be chosen to pitch their ideas to investors and public. A judge panel of investors, professors and other life sciences professionals will determine the winners and the best ones will be awarded!

Winners of previous Life Sciences Baltics Pitch Challenge include Integrated Optics, a Vilnius-based laser technology company, and Ferentis, a company producing biomimetic peptides and peptide-based scaffolds for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications.

Winners of this year will be awarded with the trip to Akron BioMedical Corridor, International Hub of BioMedical Innovation. Akron will provide access to their network and arrange a program specific to the interests of the winner company.

Startup Pitch Challenge will take place on the 15th of September, the second day of Life Sciences Baltics Forum.

Networking opportunities

Meet 1000+ life sciences industry influentials from 30+ countries, including delegations from Japan, Israel, US and the EU! From managers, scientists, investors, accelerators and other decision makers to Nobel prize winner Prof. Dan Shechtman.
