    International forum Life Sciences Baltics 2016 will gather 1300 industry players in Vilnius on September 14-15 for the 3rd time.     Keynote speaker: Dan Shechtman, winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry

    Life Sciences Baltics 2016 is proud to announce that Dan Shechtman, winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry has confirmed his attendance in the forum, which will take place in Vilnius on September 14-15. Shechtman in 2011 was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the discovery of seemingly impossible quasicrystals structures that are ordered but not periodic in metal alloys.

    FlandersBio and Enterprise Lithuania sign a memorandum of Understanding

    On May 10th  2016, a high level mission under the leadership of Minister President Geert Bourgeois has visited the Baltic States in order to explore business opportunities for collaborations between Lithuania and Flanders based companies. During the visit in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, FlandersBio, represented by its Managing Director, Henk Joos and Enterprise Lithuania, represented by its Managing Director Rūta Pentiokinaité have signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two organizations. In the Memorandum explicit and concrete areas of collaboration in the area of life sciences have been agreed.
