Airport information

The main airport of the county is located in the south of Vilnius. It is only 7 km or 15 minutes drive by car from the centre of the capital and aprx  20 minutes drive to the conference venue Le Meridien Vilnius hotel.


By  taxi:

The airport can be reached by cabs of any of the taxi companies servicing the city. Taxis can be found curbside nearby the arrival terminal.
We advice you to take a taxi from Vilnius airport to your chosen hotel or to order a transfer at your hotel during the registration. If you take a taxi from the airport, the trip will cost you around 25-50 EUR.
It‘s cheaper and just as convenient to call a taxi by telephone. The taxi fare is from 1.80 (0,50 EUR) Litas to 3 (0.90 EUR) Litas per kilometer in the city. You may use these numbers:

Do not get surprised if you are charged a taxi fare (1 Euro) for getting on a taxi.
Take a taxi booking service at Vilnius Tourist Information Centre at the Arrival Hall of the International Vilnius Airport. You will get the customer-friendly fares, there are no booking fee.

By bus:
  • No. 1 – to the railway station, runs every 30-50 minutes;
  • No. 2 – through the centre of the city to Šeškinė, runs every 10-20 minutes.

Tickets for trolleybuses and buses can be bought at any newspaper kiosk or they can be bought on the trolley/buss.

By minibuse:
  • No. 15 – through the city centre to the outskirts of the city (Airport–Kalvarijų Street-Santariškės)
  • No. 20 – through the city centre to the outskirts of the city (Airport-Fabijoniškės)
  • No. 23 – through the city centre to the outskirts of the city (Airport-Konstitucijos pr.-Šeškinė)
  • No. 47 – through the city centre to the outskirts of the city (Airport-Pašilaičiai)
Minibuses run every 5-15 minutes. Tickets can be bought on the bus only.

Airport Express:
Minibus route: from the airport to the bus station, every 40 min, depends on the flight schedule (from 7:40 to 22:40). Ticket 3 Litas, can be bought on the minibus.

By train:
Distance from the airport to Vilnius Railway station is about 5 km, the journey takes up to 8 minutes. Trains run approximately every 40 minutes. The schedule can be found at Tickets can be purchased on the train or at Vilnius Railway Station.


By  taxi:
The venue of the conference can be reached by cabs of any of the taxi companies servicing the city. The easiest and the fastest way is to order a taxi at your hotel reception.
If you take a taxi from the Vilnius centre, the trip will cost you around 15-20  EUR (50 litas).

By shuttle bus:
The conference venue can be reached by shuttle bus which leaves from the Olympic casino (Konstitucijos 20, from the Radisson BLU) hotel:

Kaunas airport

Kaunas International Airport is the second busiest civil airport in Lithuania after VNO (Vilnius airport) and the fourth one in Baltic States. The airport mainly serves interational passenger and cargo flights and is located in Karmelava, 15 km (9 miles) northeast of Kaunas centre.
You can reach Kaunas with these airlines: Ryanair, airBaltic, IrAero, WOW air.
In Vilnius the bus picks up and leaves the passengers at Hotel Panorama, the bus stop at Kaunas Airport is just in front of the passenger terminal. Bus schedule is coordinated with Ryanair flight schedule and serves every flight. You can get tickets at
